Writing for the web is different from writing for the traditional print. Plan your navigation first; it helps you decide up front how much information you will actually write for your user and how much information your user will access via links to other sites. Break your information into chunks; your chunk information should consider these tips:

- Length of story should be minimum

Develop a well organized hyperlink structure for your site. Show your outline, or diagram it with a hyperlinked site map of content at the top or bottom of your web pages. Your message style should be less formal. Avoid jargon-filled phrases, slang that could be misunderstood by readers from other cultures. Always remember that you are writing for global audience.

First 50 words are very important, search engines pick up those words to describe your website so you should put most important concept in the first 50 words.
Use bulleted and numbered list for web site writing. Write instructive headings that stand their own and are reliable in their wording. Establish you credibility to include your name and the name of your sponsor on every web page. Web site content should be error free. Contact information should provide so that readers can get in touch with you or your sponsor easily.
