Feng Shui Tips for Your House

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Feng Shui for your house can make a lot of positive improvements to all family members in terms of their health, luck, fortune and relationship. It might sound unrealistic but it's a fact because feng shui is something serious that has been proven to work for over hundreds of years now. The main idea behind Feng shui is that everything is connected, and nothing remains isolated in our universe. Every item in our environment has a certain effect on us, on our mind, body and soul.

Febng Shui which means "wind and water" is defined as the art of placement, or the art of flow. Feng shui for your house tries to improve and get the most out of the movement of the universal life force energy known as Chi. Chi moves all things though an environment, but the flow of that motion determines the well-being of the humans inhabiting the given surroundings. The main principle of this Chinese art is living in harmony with our environment instead of being against it.

The Chi energy goes through our home, but when its flow is blocked by the improper positioning of the different items, the flow of chi becomes weak or misdirected, so everything about us, including relationships, incomes, health and career start to suffer. This explains how feng shui for you house actually works. For some of you, this may sound like a cheap trick, something that's designed to steal your hard-earned dollars, and yes, there are scammers abusing Feng shui. But this still doesn't mean that the real and true principles of Feng shui won't make a positive different in your life.

Feng shui for your house supplies you with the necessary knowledge and tools to analyze and correct the flow of energy that goes in and through the given space they inhabit. It's based on the arrangement of rooms and achieves its goals by proper positioning of the furniture in order to create a smooth pathway for the Chi energy to pass through. All blockages and other forms of negative chi must be removed and the items inside the space must be re-arranged to reinforce the client's intentions.

The main rule of feng shui for your house is to have everything in order, perfectly positioned, without any clutter. This rule is an absolute requirement for every room. In terms of feng shui, clutter means unfinished business, which supposes less progress in life. Clutter prevents the Chi energy from freely flowing across the room, and that's exactly what you want to achieve. It's a good idea to put plants in corners, because they will block the Chi energy from getting stagnant there.

Concerning the color, feng shui for your house recommends warmer colors, tones like copper, terra cotta, peach, cream, cocoa and tan, to create a more welcoming and cozy atmosphere. If you want to invite a more healing energy, you can achieve it by applying soft colors such as blues or greens. Reds and oranges are connected to yang, which means they can be too stimulating, although reds and pinks are colors of romance, so using them in bedrooms increases romance in our relationships.
