SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Enterprise Resource Planning relies on very big and complex software. Earlier, numerous consultants, programmers and users did the implementation of ERP systems in a single firm. In every ERP package implementation, customization, training is usually required. This is because some packages are very generic in their reports. They may not meet your current business process. You have to customize your software to get the desire results.

ERP Company faces enormous changes in turnover of this period. More innovations have been done in the process and development of all software. Tremendous growth has been faced due to the changes and improvement of technologies in all sectors. In many business sectors, ERP becomes the vital, essential and day-to-day applications.

Most of the companies tend to implement this software in their organization for company development. For product appraisal and business out processing, this software has been used by most of the business sectors.

Customization has been started by most of the business organizations. Nowadays, most of the software has been customized by all businesses verticals. The cost of customization is varying from company to company. Some company used to charge very high and some are less.

Customization of ERP software becomes necessary in every part of the technology and because of this technology development most of the organizations tend to customize their software as per their requirement. Customization of software estimates the implementation of software in programming, coding and consulting services of the organization.

In some software packages, customization will be made in the form of tables (not on forms level) to have easy reference and review in future for more customization or up gradation. While some software allows to change their forms also. In this case the proper consultancy is required, because when you change in one form it will reflect in other forms also. Customization at form level should be avoided for better and hassle free results.

The customization can be done easily, but too much of customization makes difficult for the programmer to up grade. Customization is an acute way to make the management tool efficient and effective. For customization, you may seek the help of vendors for technical and functional consulting that involves coding and programming modification to suit your specific and unique requirements.

Customization without help of expert can be very expensive and complicated. There are the companies that specialized in ERP services like implementation, customization, training etc. They do the implementation and customization in a systematic manner. They start with process mapping, GAP analysis, VED analysis, configuring, programming, testing and Go-live. Before Go-live, they will do all the testing process wise, role wise with dummy data and check all functionalities. If there is any bug they will fix it before Go-live.
